Sometimes we find ourselves with a spare hour and sometimes we get lucky and have a day. No matter how long you have, there is always something different to do in Dalby.
Depending on which direction you are driving from, you may wish to checkout Jimbour House or Bunya Mountains on the way. Both offer lovely walks and delicious cafes surrounded by relaxing vistas.
Arrive in Dalby in time for your 2pm checkin at Dalby Fairways Motor Inn. We recommend surprising that special someone with a stay in the King Spa rooms. Nothing beats a relaxing spa at the end of a busy day. Let us know if you would like flowers and chocolates in the room on arrival.
Sean and Mandy will be on hand to welcome you to the hotel and show you to your room.
Once you have found your way around, you may wish to take a stroll down to Myall Creek Parkland to stretch your legs. If you are with us on a Saturday morning, there is a 7am hosted run in the park, ask at reception for further details.
Alternatively, the Pioneer Park Museum is open daily from 8am – 5pm with a rich display of local history. Children young and old love exploring the colonial memorabilia displayed in authentic buildings.
On Saturday afternoons between 3pm and 7pm you may be lucky enough to grad a magical find at the Dalby Markets in the showgrounds. Check the calendar for dates.
For dinner, we recommend either the Criterion Hotel which is renowned for seriously good steak or Country Club Hotel. Both have a passion for good quality local produce.
Don’t forget to order your breakfast before 7pm. We can deliver anytime Mon – Fri from 6:30am to 8am or weekends from 7am to 8am.
Checkout time is 10am but if you are staying on our special event weekend package, this is extended to midday.
Before you leave town, head to the Butchers Pantry or Urban Paddock to grab everything for a delicious lunch picnic then head out to Lake Broadwater located 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel. With over 200 species of birds, this is the perfect place to take the camera and explore.
